

Nectaris (Japan)
Nectaris is a 1994 puzzle game developed by Jaleco and released for the PC-FX console. It's considered a successor to the popular puzzle game Columns. The gameplay largely revolves around matching colorful gems falling from the top of the screen. Players strategically manipulate falling gems to create vertical or horizontal lines of three or more matching gems, causing those gems to vanish and earning points. The game features various difficulty levels and speed settings, offering a considerable challenge. Its simple concept is captivating and enjoyable, creating a classic puzzle experience on the PC-FX. Though a relatively straightforward game, it provided a solid addition to the PC-FX's growing library.
