Darius Plus (Japan)
Darius Plus is a vertically scrolling shooter for the NEC PC-FX, another entry in Taito's iconic Darius series. Like Darius Alpha, it features the series' signature challenging gameplay with diverse enemies and boss encounters. The PC-FX version would have visually upgraded the game, while preserving the core shooter mechanics. Players take control of a spaceship, navigating through stages filled with enemies, using various weapons and power-ups. The porting to the PC-FX was an effort by Taito to extend the reach of this popular arcade series to a home console audience.
