Bomberman '94 for the NEC PC-FX continued the Bomberman series' tradition of bomb-based puzzle and action gameplay. Released in 1994, this version probably included updates or new features compared to its predecessors.  Konami, the developer, would have adapted the core game mechanics for the PC-FX hardware. While the fundamental gameplay would be familiar to fans of the series, it was likely optimized for the PC-FX's graphical and processing capabilities.
