Dig Dug, on the Atari 7800 (available in both European and US versions), is a port of the classic arcade game. It retains the core gameplay of the original, where players control Dig Dug, using pumps to inflate and pop underground enemies. The goal is to eliminate all enemies on each screen. The Atari 7800 version delivers a faithful adaptation of the arcade hit's gameplay.  The core mechanics of digging and inflating enemies are replicated effectively.  While the graphics are simpler than the arcade original, the gameplay remains largely intact. The game was published by Atari Corporation.
